On the occasion of the next conference of Parties Climate Paris 2015 (COP21) of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change, the collective project "Cooperación y Relaciones internacionales in Ibero-America" of the Euro-Latin American Campus of Sciences Po in Poitiers is pleased to invite you to the upcoming 5th edition of his University University Model SEGIB (MUS) from the 23nd to 27 of March 2015. The campus of Poitiers and UNESCO joined to offer a week rich in exchanges, discoveries and learning, on the theme '' Toma el control, tu tierra te necesita '' (takes the control, your planet needs you).

For one week, students of the Campus and many partners universities will come to attend simulations of international negotiations in areas such as entrepreneurship or public policies, allowing them to apply their knowledge and improve their eloquence and argumentative skills. The event will reunite students around diferent round tables, where they will take on the role of business leaders, international authorities or organizations, in order to try to resolve the issues chosen on the theme of envirronnement: a fun game and entertaining roles that would give everyone the opportunity to express the views of the person it represents, as well as knowing the others.

 

These simulations will not only make participants aware of interrelationships between Latin American countries, but also allow the emergence of new proposals on cooperation between Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula ..

We count for the occasion on the presence of many experts, specialists, artists and important exponents of the world of politics and diplomacy of the Latin-American region, bringing the richness of their opinions and thoughts related to the central theme of MUS. Their contribution will give way to moments of reflection and debate , of great use for the discussions that will follow, and will allow a better understanding of the subject issues.

This is an original way to develop experience in international relations, especially the MUS envisages an important role in the expression of all the artistic talents through various activities. Indeed, the organizing team will have the honor of entertaining event participants and guests with many musical performances, artistic activities organized by the BDA, as well as a cocktail on the day of the inauguration of MUS. This cocktail will be an ideal opportunity to enjoy the buffet, drinks, and especially the company of participants and speakers, with whom you will be able to discuss and exchange views in a more relaxed and less formal atmosphere. In addition, a party will be organized by the BDE, and the Project Co of Rhetoric will give a prize to the best speaker in the discussion.
